WHY WE DO THIS
The Snowball exists to bring together some of the best teachers, musicians, bands, and DJs—people who inspire, challenge, and help dancers grow. Through classes, social dancing, performance, and competition, we aim to create spaces where dancers can connect, push themselves, and celebrate the joy of the dances. At its heart, these dances come from Black American cultural heritage, and as guests of this culture, we strive to honor that by learning, listening, and celebrating Black American culture with care and respect. We’re here to create something excellent, together.
WELCOME TO THE SNOWBALL
Since 2004, The Snowball has grown into one of the most iconic global gatherings for swing dance enthusiasts. Each year, dancers from around the world come together in Stockholm for six unforgettable days and nights, culminating in a fantastic New Year's Eve party.
From passionate social dancers to advanced performers, The Snowball offers an inspiring program across Lindy Hop, Balboa, Blues, and Solo Jazz. With world-class teachers, exhilarating competitions, spontaneous late-night jams, nonstop social dancing, and live music echoing through every corner of the venue, the atmosphere is electric, dynamic, and truly unforgettable.
Our event is hosted at a hotel in Stockholm, offering an all-in-one experience where dancers can live, learn, and dance under one roof.

WHO WE ARE
The people behind 4 Swedes Production are
Kenneth, Helena, Joanna & Henric = 4 Swedes
We are two couples with a deep passion for dancing, especially swing. All four of us have a long history in dance, competing, teaching, organizing, and coaching. Together, we hold years of experience that help us produce The Snowball.​
